Not just a cosy place
Masseria Pappo is an old Salentine Masseria which dates back to the XVII century. It is located in the Copertino district, amid the enchanting scenery of the Salento Peninsula, a unique and charming territory where nature, art, culture and tradition come together wonderfully.
The Masseria has been expertly restored with refiniment and attention to detail, and the restoration work, lasting more than 3 years, have been carried out with the absolute respect of  its history and of its original structure, preserving the architectural forms of the past, such as the ancient star and barrel vault ceiling.

The careful renovation has resulted in a little restaurant and six rooms, obtained from spaces of the original rural structure once used for agricultural activities, such as the workers’ houses, the barns, the stables.

Our guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquility that only a rural environment can offer, far from the hectic rhythm of the everyday life. In fact the Masseria is truly the perfect retreat for holidays devoted to appreciating the simple and exquisite pleasures that we tend to forget; it is a nice and unique place that offers a genuine atmosphere to the guests stopping by for a moment or staying for a long time.

The perfect starting point for exploring in detail the whole area of Salento, Masseria Pappo is in a strategic position to reach, in less than half an hour, both beautiful beaches (Porto Selvaggio, Porto Cesareo, Gallipoli, Otranto,… ) and cities of arts and characteristic medieval villages (Lecce, Galatina, Nardò, Specchia,… )
The owners of the farm will welcome you and will be at your disposal for any information and suggestions useful for really getting to know the region of Salento in all its aspects and beauty.
